Lorient North America is a proud supporter of the REACH Directive; a European regulation that seeks to protect human health and the environment through the regulation of chemical substances.

It was introduced to make the industry responsible for assessing and managing the risks posed by chemicals and for providing appropriate safety information to their users. It relates to all manufacturers, importers and downstream users of those chemicals contained within a substance, preparation or article at concentrations of >0.1% as appearing on the Substances of Very High Concern Register (SVHC).

As a business, LNA has a robust system in place that ensures all materials used to manufacture its products do not contain any substances that are classed as a Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) as appearing on the REACH candidate list in concentrations greater than 0.1%. and therefore as a company we are REACH compliant.
